Connecting a new phone
For phones with Windows® and iOS® operating systems, it is recommended to start connection from the phone:
Enable the Bluetooth® function on PCM
When connecting via Bluetooth®, the phone is connected to the PCM using the hands-free profile (HFP).
The PCM serves as a Bluetooth® hands-free unit for the connected phone and can access the contents of the phone book, the call lists and the messages of each phone. It is therefore possible to transfer an ongoing conversation to the phone after leaving the vehicle.
