Lane Change Assist (LCA)
Lane Change Assist (LCA) warns the driver about vehicles that are approaching from the rear or are located in the blind spot. This applies both when overtaking other vehicles and when being overtaken. Integrated warning indicators in both door mirrors light up as soon as a dangerous situation is identified and changing lanes seems essential.

This equipment complies with FCC radiation exposure limits set forth for an uncontrolled environment. This equipment should be installed and operated with minimum distance of 8 in. (20 cm) between the radiator and your body. This transmitter must not be co-located or operating in conjunction with any other antenna or transmitter.

Lack of attention
The Lane Change Assist is not a substitute for the driver's attentiveness. The driver is still responsible for taking due care when changing lanes.
Restricted range of the radar sensor
The range of the radar sensor can be reduced in tight corners, on undulating roads and in adverse weather conditions (rain, snow, ice, heavy spray). Vehicles will not be recognized adequately or not at all.
This may lead to hazardous situations.
