Rear view camera
The rear view camera serves to monitor the area behind the vehicle during parking maneuvers. The image from the rear view camera is shown on the PCM display.
You have the option of displaying grid lines in the rear view camera image. These grid lines change according to the current position of the front wheels. They therefore show you where the current steering wheel turn will bring you.
There is no rear view camera display when the parking brake is activated.
Voice control is not available while the image is displayed.
Always keep the rear view camera free from dirt, ice and snow, as these can have an adverse effect on the camera image.
Injury hazard. The rear view camera only serves to assist the driver. It does not replace looking over your shoulder and/or using your mirrors.
While its display is generally accurate, objects can be distorted in size, proportion, and depth of field when seen through the rear view camera.
The camera view does not cover the complete area behind the vehicle.
