Driver’s door memory buttons
(driver memory or comfort memory)

Storing Personal Settings
In conjunction with the driver memory package or the comfort memory package, personal settings can be stored on the vehicle key and the memory buttons in the door.

If the vehicle is equipped with driver memory there are memory buttons in the driver’s door. If the vehicle is equipped with comfort memory there are memory buttons in the driver’s door and the passenger’s door.

Driver memory
The driver memory package includes storage of
ergonomic settings for

  1. driver’s seat and
  2. door mirrors.

Passenger’s door memory buttons (comfort memory)

Comfort memory
The comfort memory package includes storage of
ergonomic settings for

  1. driver’s seat,
  2. passenger’s seat (settings are stored on the memory buttons in the passenger’s door only),
  3. electric steering column and
  4. door mirrors as well as

comfort settings for

  1. air conditioning,
  2. multi-function display and
  3. Porsche Communication Management (PCM).

Retrieving automatic settings for seats, mirrors and electric steering column
Parts of the body may be pinched or crushed if the settings are activated in an uncontrolled manner.

  • Automatic retrieval of the settings can be cancelled by pressing a memory button or any seat adjustment button.
  • Do not leave children in the vehicle unattended.

Information
If the automatic storage function is activated on the multi-function display, the settings will be automatically stored on the vehicle key when the vehicle is locked.

For information on switching the automatic storage function on and off:

  • Please refer to chapter "SWITCHING AUTO MEMORY ON AND OFF" on page 136.

Regardless of whether the automatic storage function is activated on the multi-function display, the settings can be stored on the vehicle key (by pressing key button 3) and the memory buttons 1 or 2 and retrieved from there.
